Thought I’d stop by to show the blog some love. Why is it whenever I get busy this is the first thing that ges sacrificed?
The term ‘bitten off more than you can chew’ means alot to me right now. I have two photo shoots this weekend which I’m really excited about, including my first ever newborn shoot. I haven’t taken any pictures for the paper yet this week and it’s already Friday! I have to go out tonight to photograph the local Shave for a Cure , then photo shoots tomorrow then out again Saturday night for book club and hens night then photo shoot Sunday. Oh and just for fun and because I have nothing better to do (insert sarcasm here) I am now looking after a nine month old four days a week until his mum can get a place at the local daycare centre which will probably be in July. Ahh…so that’s me at the moment.
As for Jamie Oliver, I did complete the challenge. I made his classic Penne Carbonara recipe (which believe it or not I cannot find online so I’m going to have to type it out another day). I have to say I thought it would be really bland because it had so few ingredients but it was delicious! Recipe will follow, I promise. I just don’t have the recipe book beside me because I was sure I could find it online.
It was Dan’s birthday on Wednesday. I actually managed to surprise him this year. He thought for sure he was getting a garden mulcher but no sirree. Our deck is now sporting a brand spankin’ 32″ LCD TV. Now he can sit out there and watch sport to his hearts content and not have to disrupt important inside TV viewing
On a side note. I really wish everyone would read this the way it sounds in my head. Maybe I should do some kind of voice blog thing. It annoys me that it’s so hard to convey sarcasm in written text. I forget that there are people in this world who don’t get it therefore feel the need to go the whole ‘insert sarcasm’ bracket to make sure I’m not misunderstood.
On another side note. I would love to know who’s reading this. The stats tell me people are so who are you?
